Tityustoxin Kalpha (#RTT-360) is a potent and specific blocker of Kv1.2 channels.
It was originally isolated from the scorpion Tityus serrulatus venom.
Alomone Labs is pleased to offer a new version of this toxin that is directly labeled with an ATTO-594 fluorescent dye; Tityustoxin Kalpha (A20C)-ATTO-594 (#STT-360-AR).
ATTO dyes are characterized by strong absorption (high extinction coefficient), high fluorescence quantum yield, and high photo-stability. The ATTO-594 label is analogous to the well known dye Texas Red and can be used with filters typically used to detect those dyes.
Tityustoxin-Kalpha (A20C)-ATTO-594 (#STT-360-AR) has been tested in electrophysiology applications and is specially suited for experiments, requiring simultaneous labeling of different markers.
