Dendrotoxin-K. A potent blocker of Kv1.1 Channels. Dendrotoxin-K is isolated from Dendroaspis p.polylepis snake venom, by modification of the procedure of Schweitz and purified to homogeneity. It blocks mainly Kv1.1 (EC50=0.6 nM2) but also Kv1.2 channels (see below). Ion Channel Modulators> K+ Channel Blockers.
