1-Norokadaone is structural analog of Okadaic acid. This compound is a less active homolog than the Okadaic Acid and Okadaol as inhibitors of Protein Phosphatase 1 and Protein Phosphatase 2A, and is thus widely used as negative control for Okadaic Acid.
