This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Cacng8 Antibody (ARP35367_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Mouse
Presku: AAP35367
Size: 100ug
Weight: 43kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Cacng8 regulates the trafficking and gating properties of AMPA-selective glutamate receptors (AMPARs). It promotes their targeting to the cell membrane and synapses and modulates their gating properties by slowing their rates of activation, deactivation and desensitization and by mediating their resensitization. Cacng8 does not show subunit-specific AMPA receptor regulation and regulates all AMPAR subunits. Cacng8 is thought to stabilize the calcium channel in an inactivated (closed) state.
