This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ZNF384 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP31601_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP31601
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 54kDa
Gene: 171017
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The specific function of this protein remains unknownThis gene contains long CAG trinucleotide repeats coding consecutive glutamine residues. The gene product may functions as a transcription factor, with a potential role in the regulation of neurodevelopment or neuroplasticity. The protein appears to bind and regulate the promoters of MMP1, MMP3, MMP7 and COL1A1. Studies in mouse suggest that nuclear matrix transcription factors (NP/NMP4) may be part of a general mechanical pathway that couples cell construction and function during extracellular matrix remodeling. Multiple transcript variants encoding several isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: CAGH1; CAGH1A; CIZ; ERDA2; NMP4; NP; TNRC1
