This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-XPNPEP2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP41525_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP41525
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 75kDa
Gene: 7512
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Aminopeptidase P is a hydrolase specific for N-terminal imido bonds, which are common to several collagen degradation products, neuropeptides, vasoactive peptides, and cytokines. Structurally, the enzyme is a member of the 'pita bread fold' family and occurs in mammalian tissues in both soluble and GPI-anchored membrane-bound forms. A membrane-bound and soluble form of this enzyme has been identified as products of two separate genes.
