The ORF of human WNT2B is amplified by PCR using a high fidelity enzyme and sub-cloned into a Prokaryotic expression vector under the control of the tac promoter. The expression of the gene has been confirmed by Western blot using an anti-WNT2B polyclonal antibody.

WNT family members function in a variety of developmental processes including regulation of cell growth and differentiation and are characterized by a WNT-core domain.
