This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-VSX1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP39109_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP39109
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 38kDa
Gene: 30813
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: VSX1 contains a paired-like homeodomain and binds to the core of the locus control region of the red/green visual pigment gene cluster. VSX1 may regulate expression of the cone opsin genes early in development. Mutations in VSX1 can cause posterior polymorphous corneal dystrophy and keratoconus. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.
