This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-VPS54 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP56168_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP56168
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 107kDa
Gene: 51542
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: VPS54 may be involved in retrograde transport from early and late endosomes to late Golgi. This gene encodes for a protein that in yeast forms part of a trimeric vacuolar-protein-sorting complex that is required for retrograde transport of proteins from prevacuoles to the late Golgi compartment. As in yeast, mammalian Vps54 proteins contain a coiled-coil region and dileucine motifs. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Alternative names: HCC8; SLP-8p; VPS54L; hVps54L
