This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-VDAC1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP35122_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP35122
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 31kDa
Gene: 7416
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The voltage-dependent anion-selective channel 1 (VDAC1) functions as a channel in membranous structures for the outer mitochondrial membrane, the cell membrane, endosomes, caveolae, the sarcoplasmatic reticulum, synaptosomes, and post-synaptic density fraction. A major function of VDAC1 in the plasma membrane is that of a NADH(-ferricyanide) reductase that may be involved in the maintenance of cellular redox homeostasis.
