This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Vamp7 Antibody (ARP47593_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human, Mouse
Presku: AAP47593
Size: 100ug
Weight: 25kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Vamp7 is involved in the targeting and/or fusion of transport vesicles to their target membrane during transport of proteins from the early endosome to the lysosome. Vamp7 is required for heterotypic fusion of late endosomes with lysosomes and homotypic lysosomal fusion.Vamp7 is required for calcium regulated lysosomal exocytosis. Vamp7 is involved in the export of chylomicrons from the endoplasmic reticulum to the cis Golgi.Vamp7 is required for exocytosis of mediators during eosinophil and neutrophil degranulation, and target cell killing by natural killer cells. Vamp7 is also required for focal exocytosis of late endocytic vesicles during phagosome formation.
Alternative names: Sybl1; TI-VAMP; VAMP-7
