This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-UCK2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP46184_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP46184
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 29kDa
Gene: 7371
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: UCK2 catalyzes the phosphorylation of uridine monophosphate to uridine diphosphate. This is the first step in the production of the pyrimidine nucleoside triphosphates required for RNA and DNA synthesis. In addition, an allele of this gene may play a role in mediating nonhumoral immunity to Hemophilus influenzae type B.The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the phosphorylation of uridine monophosphate to uridine diphosphate.
