This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-UBE2E1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP43012_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP43012
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 21kDa
Gene: 7324
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: UBE2E1 catalyzes the covalent attachment of ubiquitin to other proteins. UBE2E1 mediates the selective degradation of short-lived and abnormal proteins. The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an important cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes, or E1s, ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes, or E2s, and ubiquitin-protein ligases, or E3s. This gene encodes a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: UBCH6
