This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Twf1 Antibody (ARP56488_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Rat
Presku: AAP56488
Size: 100ug
Weight: 40kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Twf1 is an actin-binding protein involved in motile and morphological processes. It inhibits actin polymerization, likely by sequestering G-actin. By capping the barbed ends of filaments, it also regulates motility. It seems to play an important role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and distribution of endocytic organelles.
Alternative names: MGC105817; Ptk9
