This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-TRPC4 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP35256_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP35256
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 112kDa
Gene: 7223
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: TRPC4 is thought to form a receptor-activated non-selective calcium permeant cation channel. TRPC4 probably is operated by a phosphatidylinositol second messenger system activated by receptor tyrosine kinases or G-protein coupled receptors. It has also been shown to be calcium-selective. TRPC4 may also be activated by intracellular calcium store depletion.
