This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-TNFRSF18 antibody (Catalogue #: AVARP02052_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Size: 100 ug
Weight: 23kDa
Gene: 8784
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by TNFRSF18 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. This receptor has been shown to have increased expression upon T-cell activation, and it is thought to play a key role in dominant immunological self-tolerance maintained by CD25(+)CD4(+) regulatory T cells. Knockout studies in mice also suggest the role of this receptor is in the regulation of CD3-driven T-cell activation and programmed cell death. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
