This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-THRA antibody (Catalogue #: ARP34780_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP34780
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 55kDa
Gene: 7067
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The THRA gene encodes a protein that is a nuclear hormone receptor for triiodothyronine. It is one of the several receptors for thyroid hormone, and has been shown to mediate the biological activities of thyroid hormone. Knockout studies in mice suggest that the different receptors, while having certain extent of redundancy, may mediate different functions of thyroid hormone.
