This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-THEX1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP41158_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP41158
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 38kDa
Gene: 90459
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: THEX1 contains 1 SAP domain and 1 exonuclease domain. It is an RNA exonuclease that binds to the 3' end of histone mRNAs and probably degrades them, suggesting that it plays an essential role in histone mRNA decay after replication. It is also able to degrade the 3' overhangs of short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) in vitro, suggesting a possible role as regulator of RNA interference (RNAi).
