This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Tcea1 Antibody (ARP39250_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Rat
Presku: AAP39250
Size: 100ug
Weight: 33kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Tcea1 is necessary for efficient RNA polymerase II transcription elongation past template-encoded arresting sites. The arresting sites in DNA have the property of trapping a certain fraction of elongating RNA polymerases that pass through, resulting in locked ternary complexes. Cleavage of the nascent transcript by S-II allows the resumption of elongation from the new 3'-terminus.
Alternative names: MGC116288
