This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-TAF1C antibody (Catalogue #: ARP38668_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP38668
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 85kDa
Gene: 9013
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Initiation of transcription by RNA polymerase I requires the formation of a complex composed of the TATA-binding protein (TBP) and three TBP-associated factors (TAFs) specific for RNA polymerase I. This complex, known as SL1, binds to the core promoter of ribosomal RNA genes to position the polymerase properly and acts as a channel for regulatory signals. TAF1C is the largest SL1-specific TAF.
