This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-TADA2L Antibody (ARP33391_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP33391
Size: 100ug
Weight: 51kDa
Gene: 6871
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Many DNA-binding transcriptional activator proteins enhance the initiation rate of RNA polymerase II-mediated gene transcription by interacting functionally with the general transcription machinery bound at the basal promoter. Adaptor proteins are usually required for this activation, possibly to acetylate and destabilize nucleosomes, thereby relieving chromatin constraints at the promoter. TADA2L is a transcriptional activator adaptor and has been found to be part of the PCAF histone acetylase complex.
