This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-TAC1 Antibody(ARP59546_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP59546
Size: 100ug
Weight: 13kDa
Gene: 6863
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene encodes four products of the tachykinin peptide hormone family, substance P and neurokinin A, as well as the related peptides, neuropeptide K and neuropeptide gamma. These hormones are thought to function as neurotransmitters which interact with nerve receptors and smooth muscle cells. They are known to induce behavioral responses and function as vasodilators and secretagogues. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: Hs.2563; NK2; NKNA; NPK; TAC2
