This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-Syt1 Antibody(ARP59447_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Mouse
Presku: AAP59447
Size: 100ug
Weight: 47kDa
Gene: 20979
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Syt1 may have a regulatory role in the membrane interactions during trafficking of synaptic vesicles at the active zone of the synapse. It binds acidic phospholipids with a specificity that requires the presence of both an acidic head group and a diacyl backbone. A Ca2+-dependent interaction between synaptotagmin and putative receptors for activated protein kinase C has also been reported. It can bind to at least three additional proteins in a Ca2+-independent manner; these are neurexins, syntaxin and AP2.
