Survivin (Apoptosis inhibitor survivin) is a component of the chromosomal passenger comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, (CPC), a key regulator of mitosis. The CPC comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, has essential functions at the centromere in ensuring correct chromosome alignment and segregation. CPC is required for chromatin-induced microtubule stabilization and spindle assembly. Survivin interacts with tubulin and inhibits caspase-3 and caspase-7. Survivin is abundantly e, Xenopus/Amphibian,pressed in adenocarcinoma and high-grade lymphomas.
