Specific for Streptavidin from Streptomyces avidinii (Kd > 1 x 108). No cross-reactivity with egg white avidin. Do not interfere with the biotin-binding reaction sites. Can be used to localize streptavidin, to amplify signals in immunochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, flow cytometry and immunoblotting. Effective in immunoadsorbtion procedures of streptavidin - biotinylated protein complexes.
