This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SPRR1B Antibody (ARP63557_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP63557
Size: 100ug
Weight: 10kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: SPRR1B is a cross-linked envelope protein of keratinocytes. It is a keratinocyte protein that first appears in the cell cytosol, but ultimately becomes cross-linked to membrane proteins by transglutaminase. All that results in the formation of an insoluble envelope beneath the plasma membrane. SPRR1B can function as both amine donor and acceptor in transglutaminase-mediated cross-linkage.
Alternative names: CORNIFIN; GADD33; MGC61901; SPRR1
