This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SOX14 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP35712_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP35712
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 26kDa
Gene: 8403
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This intronless gene, SOX14, encodes a member of the SOX (SRY-related HMG-box) family of transcription factors involved in the regulation of embryonic development and in the determination of the cell fate. The encoded protein may act as a transcriptional regulator after forming a protein complex with other proteins. Mutations in the SOX14 gene are suggested to be responsible for the limb defects associated with blepharophimosis, ptosis, epicanthus inversus syndrome (BPES) and Mobius syndrome.
