This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SMNDC1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP40612_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP40612
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 27kDa
Gene: 10285
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene is a paralog of SMN1 gene, which encodes the survival motor neuron protein, mutations in which are cause of autosomal recessive proximal spinal muscular atrophy. SMNDC1 is a nuclear protein that has been identified as a constituent of the spliceosome complex. This gene is differentially expressed, with abundant levels in skeletal muscle, and may share similar cellular function as the SMN1 gene.
