This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SLC7A7 Antibody(ARP43863_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP43863
Size: 100ug
Weight: 56kDa
Gene: 9056
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by this gene is the light subunit of a cationic amino acid transporter. This sodium-independent transporter is formed when the light subunit encoded by this gene dimerizes with the heavy subunit transporter protein SLC3A2. This transporter is found in epithelial cell membranes where it transfers cationic and large neutral amino acids from the cell to the extracellular space. Defects in this gene are a cause of lysinuric protein intolerance (LPI). Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: LAT3; LPI; Y+LAT1; y+LAT-1
