This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SIGLEC7 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP47018_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Target: SIGLEC7 is a putative adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. In the immune response, it may act as an inhibitory receptor upon ligand induced tyrosine phosphorylation by recruiting cytoplasmic phosphatase(s) via their SH2 domain(s) that block signal transduction through dephosphorylation of signaling molecules. SIGLEC7 mediates inhibition of natural killer cells cytotoxicity. It may also play a role in hemopoiesis. SIGLEC7 inhibits differentiation of CD34+ cell precursors towards myelomonocytic cell lineage and proliferation of leukemic myeloid cells (in vitro).
