This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SAE1 Antibody(ARP52084_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP52084
Size: 100ug
Weight: 38kDa
Gene: 10055
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: Posttranslational modification of proteins by the addition of the small protein SUMO (see SUMO1; MIM 601912), or sumoylation, regulates protein structure and intracellular localization. SAE1 and UBA2 (MIM 613295) form a heterodimer that functions as a SUMO-activating enzyme for the sumoylation of proteins (Okuma et al., 1999 [PubMed 9920803]).
Alternative names: AOS1; FLJ3091; HSPC140; SUA1
