This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-RNF40 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP43165_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP43165
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 114kDa
Gene: 9810
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: RNF40 contains a RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. This protein was reported to interact with the tumor suppressor protein RB1. Studies of the rat counterpart suggested that this protein may function as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, and facilitate the ubiquitination and degradation of syntaxin 1, which is an essential component of the neurotransmitter release machinery. The protein encoded by this gene contains a RING finger, a motif known to be involved in protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions.
