This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-RDH16 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP42141_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP42141
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 36kDa
Gene: 8608
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: RDH16 is an oxidoreductase with a preference for NAD. It oxidizes all-trans-retinol and 13-cis-retinol to the corresponding aldehydes. RDH16 has higher activity towards CRBP-bound retinol than with free retinol. It also oxidizes androstanediol and androsterone to dihydrotestosterone and androstanedione. RDH16 can also catalyze the reverse reaction.
Alternative names: RODH-4
