This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PSTPIP1 Antibody (ARP64283_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP64283
Size: 100ug
Weight: 47kDa
Gene: 9051
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by this gene binds to the cytoplasmic tail of CD2, an effector of T cell activation and adhesion, negatively affecting CD2-triggered T cell activation. The encoded protein appears to be a scaffold protein and a regulator of the actin cytoskeleton. It has also been shown to bind ABL1, PTPN18, WAS, CD2AP, and PTPN12. Mutations in this gene are a cause of PAPA syndrome.
Alternative names: CD2BP1; CD2BP1L; CD2BP1S; H-PIP; PAPAS; PSTPIP
