The protein phosphatase 1 (PP1) is essential for cell division and participates in the regulation of glycogen metabolism,Mouse, uscle contractility and protein synthesis. PP-1 is involved in the regulation of ionic conductances and long-term synaptic plasticity. PP-1 plays an important role in dephosphorylating substrates such as the postsynaptic density-associated Ca2+/calmodulin dependent protein kinase II. PP-1 holoenzyme is a trimeric comple, Xenopus/Amphibian, composed of a regulatory subunit, a variable subunit and a catalytic subunit. The PP1 catalytic subunit can be PP1-alpha (PPP1CA),PorcineP1-beta (PPP1CB) or PP1-gamma (PPP1CC), which is folded into its native form by inhibitor 2 and glycogen synthethase kinase 3, and then comple, Xenopus/Amphibian,ed to one or several targeting or regulatory subunits. This antibody recognizes PP1-alpha,PorcineP1-beta and PP1-gamma.
