This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PIGX Antibody (ARP60842_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP60842
Size: 100ug
Weight: 25kDa
Gene: The peptide is characterized by mass spectroscopy
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene encodes a type I transmembrane protein in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). The protein is an essential component of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-mannosyltransferase I, which transfers the first of the four mannoses in the GPI-anchor precursors during GPI-anchor biosynthesis. Studies in rat indicate that the protein is translated from a non-AUG translation initiation site. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Alternative names: FLJ20522
