This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-SHBG Antibody (ARP63002_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP63002
Size: 100ug
Weight: 31kDa
Gene: 6462
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: This gene encodes a steroid binding protein that was first described as a plasma protein secreted by the liver but is now thought to participate in the regulation of steroid responses. The encoded protein binds each steroid molecule as a dimer formed from identical or nearly identical monomers. The use of alternate promoters and alternatively spliced transcripts have been described. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: ABP; MGC126834; MGC138391; SBP; TEBG
