This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PDE8B Antibody (ARP64625_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP64625
Size: 100ug
Weight: 87kDa
Gene: 8622
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by this gene is a cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) that catalyzes the hydrolysis of the second messenger cAMP. The encoded protein, which does not hydrolyze cGMP, is resistant to several PDE inhibitors. Defects in this gene are a cause of autosomal dominant striatal degeneration (ADSD). Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Alternative names: ADSD; FLJ11212; PPNAD3
