This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PCCB antibody (Catalogue #: ARP56116_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP56116
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 58kDa
Gene: 5096
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: PCCB is a subunit of the propionyl-CoA carboxylase (PCC) enzyme, which is involved in the catabolism of propionyl-CoA. PCC is a mitochondrial enzyme that probably acts as a dodecamer of six alpha subunits and six beta subunits. Defects in this gene are a cause of propionic acidemia type II (PA-2).
