This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-PARP11 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP33767_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP33767
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 39kDa
Gene: 57097
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: PARP1 encodes a chromatin-associated enzyme, poly(ADP-ribosyl)transferase, which modifies various nuclear proteins by poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation. The modification is dependent on DNA and is involved in the regulation of various important cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and tumor transformation and also in the regulation of the molecular events involved in the recovery of cell from DNA damage. In addition, this enzyme may be the site of mutation in Fanconi anemia, and may participate in the pathophysiology of type I diabetes. PARP1 can be cleaved resulting in fragements of 29 and 85 kDa.
