Specific for ovine IgM Reacts with epitope on the heavy chain of ovine IgM. Does not cross-react with human, porcine, horse, rabbit, guinea pig, rat and chicken IgM, ovine IgG and IgA; cross-reacts with bovine IgM. Can be used detection of IgM in ovine and bovine serums; for preparation of enzyme conjugates for detection of "early" specific antibodies to infectious agents.
