This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-OTX1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP39102_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP39102
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 37kDa
Gene: 5013
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: OTX1 probably plays a role in the development of the brain and the sense organs. OTX1 can bind to the BCD target sequence (BTS): 5'-TCTAATCCC-3'.This gene encodes a member of the bicoid sub-family of homeodomain-containing transcription factors. The encoded protein acts as a transcription factor and may play a role in brain and sensory organ development. A similar protein in mice is required for proper brain and sensory organ development and can cause epilepsy.
