This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-NR5A2 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP38386_T100) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP38386
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 61kDa
Gene: 2494
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: NR5A2 binds to the sequence element 5'-AACGACCGACCTTGAG-3' of the enhancer II of hepatitis B virus genes, a critical cis-element of their expression and regulation. It may be responsable for the liver-specific activity of enhancer II, probably in combination with other hepatocyte transcription factors. It is a key regulator of cholesterol 7-alpha-hydroxylase gene (CYP7A) expression in liver. It may also contribute to the regulation of pancreas-specific genes and play important roles in embryonic development.
