Neurobeachin (A-kinase anchor protein 550, AKAP 550) binds to type II regulatory subunits of protein kinase A and anchors them to the membrane and possibly to cytoskeletal and organelle-associated proteins. Neurobeachin is required for correct retinal pattern formation and is involved in cell fate determination through its interactions with the EGFR and Notch signaling pathways. This antibody is directed against Drosophila neurobeachin (AKAP550).
