This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-NEK11 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP48920_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.

Target: NEK11 is a member of the never in mitosis gene A family of kinases. NEK11 localizes to the nucleoli, and may function with NEK2A in the S-phase checkpoint. It appears to play roles in DNA replication and response to genotoxic stress. NEK11 belongs to the NIMA family of kinases, which are involved in DNA replication and genotoxic stress responses (Noguchi et al., 2002 [PubMed 12154088]).[supplied by OMIM]. Sequence Note: removed 2 bases from the 3' end that did not align to the reference genome assembly. PRIMARYREFSEQ_SPAN PRIMARY_IDENTIFIER PRIMARY_SPAN COMP 1-2937 AB071996.1 1-2937
