This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MTUS1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP44419_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP44419
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 141kDa
Gene: 57509
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: MTUS1 contains a C-terminal domain and is able to interact with the angiotension II (AT2) receptor and a large coiled-coil region allowing dimerization. One of the isoforms has been shown to be a mitochondrial protein that acts as a tumor suppressor and partcipates in AT2 signaling pathways. Other isoforms may be nuclear or transmembrane proteins but it has not been determined whether they also participate in AT2 signaling pathways. This gene encodes a protein which contains a C-terminal domain able to interact with the angiotension II (AT2) receptor and a large coiled-coil region allowing dimerization. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. One of the transcript variants has been shown to encode a mitochondrial protein that acts as a tumor suppressor and partcipates in AT2 signaling pathways. Other variants may encode nuclear or transmembrane proteins but it has not been determined whether they also participate in AT2 signaling pathways.
