This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MTMR12 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP56274_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP56274
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 86kDa
Gene: 54545
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: MTMR12 inactives phosphatase that plays a role as an adapter for the phosphatase myotubularin to regulate myotubularin intracellular location.Phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase-derived membrane-anchored phosphatidylinositides, such as phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(3)P), regulate diverse cellular processes. The protein encoded by this gene functions as an adaptor subunit in a complex with an active PtdIns(3)P 3-phosphatase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, but their biological validity has not been determined.
Alternative names: 3-PAP; PIP3AP
