This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MMP23B antibody (Catalogue #: ARP46807_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP46807
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 36kDa
Gene: 8510
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: MMP23B is a protease. This gene (MMP23B) encodes a member of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family, and it is part of a duplicated region of chromosome 1p36.3. Proteins of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family are involved in the breakdown of extracellular matrix in normal physiological processes, such as embryonic development, reproduction, and tissue remodeling, as well as in disease processes, such as arthritis and metastasis. This gene belongs to the more telomeric copy of the duplicated region.
Alternative names: MIFR; MIFR-1; MMP22
