This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-ME1 antibody (Catalogue #: ARP32794_P050) made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Presku: AAP32794
Size: 100 ug
Weight: 64kDa
Gene: 4199
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: ME1 is a cytosolic, NADP-dependent enzyme that generates NADPH for fatty acid biosynthesis. The activity of this enzyme, the reversible oxidative decarboxylation of malate, links the glycolytic and citric acid cycles. The regulation of expression for this gene is complex. Increased expression can result from elevated levels of thyroid hormones or by higher proportions of carbohydrates in the diet. This gene encodes a cytosolic, NADP-dependent enzyme that generates NADPH for fatty acid biosynthesis.
