This is a synthetic peptide designed for use in combination with anti-MAPK6 Antibody(ARP56436_P050), made by Aviva Systems Biology. It may block above mentioned antibody from binding to its target protein in western blot and/or immunohistochecmistry under proper experimental settings. There is no guarantee for its use in other applications. Please inquire for more details.
Reactivities: Human
Presku: AAP56436
Size: 100ug
Weight: 83kDa
Gene: 5597
Format: Lyophilized powder
Target: The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the Ser/Thr protein kinase family, and is most closely related to mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAP kinases). MAP kinases also known as extracellular signal-regulated kinases (ERKs), are activated through protein phosphorylation cascades and act as integration points for multiple biochemical signals. This kinase is localized in the nucleus, and has been reported to be activated in fibroblasts upon treatment with serum or phorbol esters.
Alternative names: DKFZp686F03189; ERK3; HsT17250; PRKM6; p97MAPK
